FairwoodRetreat87 Is a horror visual novel where you step into the shoes of a young woman who goes to spend her first summer away at camp. As you and the other campers enjoy their summer retreat, it is only a short period of time until something is amiss. As the nights roll on, followed by the sunrise, it becomes apparent that this will be like no summer you have ever experienced. Tucked away in the secluded forest with no town in sight, it becomes apparent that maybe you should never have set foot in camp. The question is, will you and the others survive.
Heavily inspired by the horror genre and culture of the 1980s, FairwoodRetreat87 pays homage to that decade as it nears its close... With horror, thriller and psychological elements taking center stage in the story, it'll take a lot of cunning and wit to come out alive.
Note that all girls are at least 21 years of age, and this will not change. I hope that you enjoy my game and follow its development.
please take note that this game as expected from a traditional 80's slasher flick has death from the cast. If you're not prepared for a darker experience, especially later in the finale and prefer a generic happy-go-to harem sort of visual novel, then this game isn't for you. There will be positivity throughout, as with the usual drama that you'd expect from a group of girls staying with each other for a period of time.
Is the main character Lesbian? Will There Be male-female content?
The main protagonist Dawn (or however else you name her) is into females yes. There will be no content of her with other men sexually, nor a focus on sexual content with men. If there were ever any content involving men, it would be very minor and be "voyeur" in passing seen, vs participation. But, the latter would be up to my discretion.
Will there be NTR? (Meaning that character love interests cheat on the main protagonist aka the player (you)?
There is currently no NTR; however, careful and constructive consideration for a specific character is being considered "if" it'll be suitable and "needed" for the story. This would not only add realism to that specific character, but adds one of the layers of drama that you might expect having a small group of people staying close to each other for a period of time. Currently there is no NTR, but the scene in question WILL BE AVOIDABLE.
Will there be rape/sexual violence/Taboo? NO
There will NEVER BE direct representation of rape; however, where appropriate it may be insinuated where required for the story/past events. Any references/suggestions will not be portrayed visually. Please note that we do not in any way condone/support any form of sexual violence or discrimination of anyone regardless. This game is a work of fiction and any similarities to yourself or others that you may know is purely coincidental. Also anything that you see within this game we do not support repeating or re-enacting anything in this game in real life, it is a work of fiction and should be treated as such. Every character is at least 21 years of age and any sexual content will always be consensual! Every character is at least 21 years of age.

Install instructions
Simply download the winrar, and extract to gain the folder inside, then select the .exe to launch the game. Some future updates, my require a fresh save (start from the beginning, whiles in early development).
# Renpy games have has recently this year been flagged widely by certain anti-virus softwares, and I have confirmed and double-checked with the renpy team on Discord that they are false flags, as anything that I officially upload, will not contain maleware or viruses. Without giving spoilers, are there choices to avoid deaths, or is everything set in stone?
Thank you for visiting this thread and for your question. Without giving any spoilers there will be hard-coded characters who will die regardless. That is a given. If no characters died/or all got saved, then that will make a S**t slasher, which is it's purpose as a horror first and foremost. Thus a camp filled with characters.
Now I won't confirm, nor deny, but as I've said elsewhere a few times you will have to make choices, which could turn out to be fatal and/or will have an impact later on. So the plan is that your choices will have an impact. The question on if you or anyone else will survive, your choices will have an influence, that much I can reveal. So if you, or anyone else are to survive, which players will have to find out in the finale, your choices will have an influencing factor in that, yes. But, there will be various events that are set in stone regardless yes.
Hope that you're all ready for Samantha and Teresa to oversee your safety during the summer, whilst you're staying at Camp Fairwood. Make sure to not drink, or do drugs, before jumping into Lake Fairwood!
This game sounded fun. Then I read all the content that you do NOT plan to include, and it immediately became a disappointment.

Should you wish to try the game then you're more than welcome to try it out.
I believe that you've not read the synopsis of the game correctly though. This is a horror avn, not a harem. There is and never will be incest or futa/trans as this is a game set in 1987, not 2024. Also the entire game takes place at a summer camp, with everyone being at least 21 years of age. So the people that you stay at camp with is not family.
Also, the MC will never have sex with "men". The game is a lesbian one. If there are any Female on Male content, then it would not be with the main character and would be between minor side characters and men, which would be very rare if it did happen. In that situation it would work as a voyeur scene.
This game isn't a harem, so you'll not be able to sleep with all the girls or multiple, without consequences. Also being a horror AVN, set in the 80s, paying homage to the 80s horror camp slasher film, there will be death and a dark finale at the end of the game and there will be a NTR scene, which is avoidable, but needed for the story, pending on your game route.
I have a question Aya, since you made a lesbian adult horror game, what if you make a game similar to fairwood retreat 87 but with the girls remaining naked and it starts with them waking up naked in the forest and dont know how they end up here as they need to figure out how they came here and end up naked while dealing with the mysterious unknown surroundings and with adult lesbian sex, will yo be interested in that?

And thank you for the suggestion, but I think that it's best that I finish one game at a time. You'll have to see what future sexual content and scenes Fairwood will contain first. :)

Thank you for your comment, and for visiting the Discord server to express this previously. As I said to you respectably before I will be making Fairwood as I intend. There won't be orgies. Without spoiling anything, I do have potentially some skinny dipping planned, but it won't be in the manner that you stated.
Also the game that in the much longer future I do after Fairwood, will be an entirely different one, so it would make no sense to make a similar one, when I plan to branch out on different horror games as part of an anthology. But once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts, and if you decided/decide to play the game... I hope that you'll enjoy later chapters in the future.

Camping? Lots of girls? Count me in!
Hello there, thank you for visiting my itch.io games thread. The setting that the game takes place in, is on the girl's side of Fairwoods summer camp yes. So your environment will be of a female supporting cast, as you play as a female protagonist. As a warning the number of girls later in the game will reduce as part of the "slasher". So a lot of those girls will eventually be out of the picture late game as It'll in the finale come down to if you are able to survive. Depending on the decisions you make, it'll in the end also determine "if" a predetermined selected few can also survive.
You'll witness both the joys and dramas that you get when a group of young women are together for a period of time. Of course, it'll take a dark twist of a turn when the slasher arc really kicks in, and you're first-hand living your own horror slasher movie for survival. Am making this game in my true own vision, stepping away from following the crowd on what most devs creator, to create something that am both proud and passionate in.

I have been told that it's quite an unexpected twist, which few people would have expected, as well as being well received overall. Then again this is a heavy 80's slasher flick sort of theme. Of course, the prologue itself takes place in 1977, so in chapter one the player base will be in the good old 80s.
There will be death in the game and it'll get dark, especially in its finale, as it's not a generic happy-go-to harem sort of game. Granted you will have moments of positivity throughout for the most part but there will be death within the cast, which is unavoidable. I have made that clear in the description of this game as it is a horror slasher sort of avn. I thank you though genuinely for visiting and taking the time to try out my prologue, and perhaps in the future you'll give the game a try again, when future chapters are released.
